I honestly never thought I’d end up here!
What changed and what didn’t change…
I remember Lake Havasu City, AZ well, well kind of, from my earlier years.
We’d pack as many of us as we could into whoseever car we thought could make the trip there and back from Orange County, bring money for gas and beer, and make the journey.
So what was Lake Havasu City and the Colorado River Communities like to a bunch of 20-some-year-olds back in the 1970s? It was, in a word, fun. Swimming all day, camping on the beach, and savoring every hour we could squeeze out of our time there. There were a lot of dirt roads, one stoplight, one grocery store, and one launch ramp. Want a free lunch? Go on a tour of the home lots that were everywhere… many on streets that had names and no pavement. Yet.
Fast forward forty-some years and I find myself back at the lake, now with a wife, kids, and grandkids. Lake Havasu City is completely different, and completely the same. I can still go out on the water any time I want. The sun is still amazing when it sets and paints the mountains purple. There are more people. Most of the roads are paved. We have more stoplights and more four-way stops per capita than any place I have ever been. And the people who have settled here and continue to do so, well they are just special people.
In the following blog posts, I hope to share with you trends that I see in this area and add context to them in a way that may just help you make decisions about what you plan to do here or anywhere in the Southwest when it comes to Land, Homes or investment Real Estate.

It all begins with an idea.
It all begins with an idea. Maybe you want to launch a business. Maybe you want to turn a hobby into something more. Or maybe you have a creative project to share with the world. Whatever it is, the way you tell your story online can make all the difference.
Don’t worry about sounding professional. Sound like you. There are over 1.5 billion websites out there, but your story is what’s going to separate this one from the rest. If you read the words back and don’t hear your own voice in your head, that’s a good sign you still have more work to do.
Be clear, be confident and don’t overthink it. The beauty of your story is that it’s going to continue to evolve and your site can evolve with it. Your goal should be to make it feel right for right now. Later will take care of itself. It always does.
